SBI equity dilution may raise Rs 22,000 cr
The SBI (Amendment) Bill, 2010, introduced in Parliament on Monday may allow State Bank of India to raise more capital to support loan book growth. The Bill proposes to allow the bank to dilute the government holding from the minimum threshold of 55 per cent to 51 per cent.
